## Weekly homework

Math homework will now be posted weekly and will follow this pattern: Monday & Tuesday - Classroom concept reinforcement Wednesday & Thursday - EOG prep PDF files of the math homework are at the bottom of this post. Printing the Math Homework is not required, please have your child complete their math homework in their math journals or on a sheet of notebook paper. Work Of The Home is below (Moon Journal is required). Choose 2 activities in addition to the Moon Journal. - Observe the moon nightly. Sketch the way it looks. If possible, observe at the same time each evening. Write a short observation journal entry of how the moon looks or how it has changed.
- Exercise/Play Sports for 20-30 mins- write down what you did and draw a large detailed emoji about how you felt before and after working out.
- Make up a fun story on why we have a sunrise and sunset- think fable/folktale or crazy science.
- Create 2-3 rectangles with an area 64 square feet. Find the perimeter of all the rectangle you created.
- Choose a planet and create a detailed fact diagram for that planet.
- If a mystery happens at your house this week, document a) what was the mystery, b) who was the detective and what were the clues, c) how it got solved, and d) who was the guilty person?
